The Benefit of Group Sessions

Individuals begin to realize that they are not alone in their problems and that other people face similar problems and struggles. This leads to the formation of a sense of identity and belonging, as well as the release of tension and stress.

Individuals who participate in group sessions often have fewer reservations about discussing their problems with others because they can identify with the other group members.

Being in a group fosters the development of communication and social skills, and teaches individuals to accept comments from others.

The approach and process used in each group session are based on the texts Out of Captivity and the manual I Wish You Well.
